OH THE HORROR!! Erika's role in Stephen King's reimagining of &q
While the entire entertainment industry was shut down, only one film managed to keep shooting, while very other production around the world was forced to close. This film was "Children of The Corn" a reimagining of Stephen King's classic horror.
Shot in corn fields specifically manufactured by local agriculture students in outer western Sydney, the production also took over the small country town of Rylestone to recreate some of the trademark eerie charms of the original film. Erika was cast to play the role of June Williams, the mother, alongside Callan Mulvey. Directed by Lucas Ford & Kurt Wimmer, the film, currently in post production, is slated for worldwide cinematic release in 2021.
Despite strict Covid rules on set, nothing interfered with the creation of some thrilling special effects you'll be seeing on the big screen next year.
